खतरे में पडऩे लगी वन्य जीवों की जान तो वन विभाग ने यह अपनाया रुख

जालोर. कोरोना के खतरे के बीच लोग घरों में दुबके बैठे है तो शिकारी गिरोह वन क्षेत्रों में वन्यजीवों को निशाना बना रहे हैं। इस संबंध में वन विभाग को जानकारी मिलने के साथ टीम अलर्ट हो चुकी है। अब तक दो केस बनाए गए हैं और गश्त भी तेज कर दी गई है। सरकार की ओर से वन विभाग के कार्यों को भी आवश्यक श्रेणी में रखा गया है, इसके बाद अब टीमें पूरी मुस्तैदी से कार्य कर रही है। हाल ही में वेडिया, भीनमाल में शिकार की गतिविधियों और रानीवाड़ा क्षेत्र में वन क्षेत्र से अवैध खनन की गतिविधियों के बाद से वन विभाग की टीम विशेष गठित की गई। गश्ती दल सोशल डिस्टेंसी की पालना के साथ नाकों और वन्य जीव बाहुल्य वाले क्षेत्रों में सक्रियता से ड्यूटी दे रहा है।
शिकार रोकने के साथ यह व्यवस्था भी जिम्मे वर्तमान में गर्मी का असर बढ़ा है और वन्य क्षेत्रों में पानी की कमी भी है। ऐसे में घायल और बीमार वन्य जीवों की सुरक्षा और उपचार करवाने, उनके लिए वन क्षेत्र में ही पानी की व्यवस्था करने का कार्य भी किया जा रहा है।
गश्ती दल ने पिछले तीन दिन में सरनाऊ, करड़ा, दांतवाड़ा, अरणाय, चाटवाड़ा, धानता गांवों में गश्त के दौरान आम नागरिकों व ग्रामीणों को जागरुक किया गया।
अब तक दो मामले पकड़े
वेडिया गांव की सरहद में शिकार की फिराक में पकड़ में आए सात आरोपियों के कब्जे से कुल्हाड़ी और लठ बरामद हुए थे। इस मामले में आरोपियों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज हुआ और उसके बाद उन्हें 14 दिन की जेल में भेजा गया है। इससे पूर्व भीनमाल क्षेत्र जुंजाणी के पास भी 2 आरोपी तीतर और खरगोश का शिकार करते पकड़े जा चुके हैं।
